2025 Bobby Allison League Rules

Teams/Owners; Consist of 29 Teams/Owners who will compete in a 36 week/race season starting this year on Feb 16th

How we race: Each Team/Owner will select 5 drivers every week/race from the list of qualifiers.

Qualifiers: The list of qualifiers changes from race to race. The drivers are listed in the order they actually qualified for that race from 1^st (Pole sitter) to 40th^.

NEW starting FOR 2019: Starting with race 27 thru 36 the first week of round of 16, the Playoff drivers will be placed in the front 1 thru 16,12,8 and 4 using the current driver points then the rest of the field place by actual qualifying order.

List of the TOP 22 DRIVERS ; These drivers will not be placed in the last box for any reason.
Also: On the week/s that qualifying is on the same day as the race we will use the current YTD drivers point standings at that time.

How to select your drivers: For every race you will select 1 driver from 5 different boxes, boxes contain the following. (BOX 1) Drivers 1-8 (BOX 2) 9-16 (BOX 3) 17-24 (BOX 4) 25- 32 (BOX 5) 33-40.

Scoring: Points are awarded by place of finish ex: 1^st place gets 40 pts, 2nd place 39 pts etc. Also BONUS pts, are awarded to the top 4 finishers. 1^st 10 Bonus pts, 2^nd 7 Bonus pts, 3^rd 4 Bonus pts and 4^th 1 Bonus pt. Team/Owner with the most total points wins the week.

New starting for 2019: Nascar has decided to take the win away from any driver failing post race inspection, they claim they can get this done within 90 minutes from the end of the race and award the win to the runner up legally inspected car.
FYI, This League will use the results upon completion of the race as we’ve done in the past.
To clarify 10/02/2023: Scoring of all race results upon it’s completion is our leagues final results, any post inspection violations causing changes to these results will not be recognized.

Year to Date Standings: The total points you receive from each race makes up your year to date total

Line-Ups: Please. All Line ups are due no later than 2 hours prior to the start of each race. Lineups that are submitted by the original start time of the race regardless of delays or postponement will be accepted..
Line-ups not turned in will be awarded last place 28th for that race and will be given 1 point less than team finishing 27^th.

Fee of 36 race season: Only $1.39 per race $50.00 for the entire season. All Fee’s are NOT due minus or plus winnings until the end of the racing season in November. (100% of all fees’ collected are prized out as Purse’s)

New for 2022 Purse for each race:
1^st place $13.00, 2^nd place $7.00 and 3^rd place $3.00 Total purse of $828.00

New for 2020: Purse for final end of season:
Overall Winner 1^st place $200.00 (+$25), 2^nd $125.00 (+$15), 3^rd $70.00, 4^th $50.00, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th 8^th and 9^th place $25.00 each. Total purse of $570.00

Weekly ties and Overall tiebreaker:
Weekly ties for the top 3 purse positions only will be divided.
Overall final end of season tiebreaker will be based on the number of bonus points for the season. If still tied, owners will split the purse for those spots.
